RUMP STEAKS IN BEER MARINADE

(Serves 4)

 

Ingredients:

4 large Rump steaks (300g each)

30 ml Robertsons Paprika

15 ml Robertsons Thyme

250 ml Beer

30 ml Worcestershire sauce

10 ml Robertsons Garlic Flakes

30 ml seeded mustard

15 ml Lemon juice

15 ml Syrup

 

Method:

Combine the marinade ingredients. Pour into a shallow dish and add the steaks. Turn to coat well.  Marinate for two to three hours at room temperature or overnight in the fridge. Remove from the marinade and braai over hot coals for eight to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the steak. Baste frequently with marinade during braaiing (barbeque). *Tjop & Dop Magazine*

 

Notes:

Try this when the stakes are high. Talk about a combination. It doesn’t get any better than combining a lekker rump steak with a brewskie.
