SWEET SESAME CHILLI CHICKEN

(Serves 4)

 

Ingredients:

2 tbs sunfower oil
1 large onion, halved and sliced
3 cloves of garlic, fnely chopped
5cm piece ginger, peeled and finely chopped
4 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
300g pak choi, trimmed, leaves separated and larger leaves halved
2 tbs sesame seeds
2 tsp cornfour
1 tbs soy sauce, plus extra to serve
3 tbs sweet chilli sauce
1 tbs lemon juice

 

Method:

Heat the oil in a wok or large pan. Add the onion and stir-fry for 5 minutes, until turning golden. Add the garlic, ginger, chicken, pak choi and sesame seeds and stir-fry for 5 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked. Meanwhile, mix the cornfour with the soy sauce, chilli sauce and lemon juice.
