APPLE CINNAMON BREAKFAST BARS

Ingredients:

1/2 cup finely chopped almonds

1 cup wholewheat flour

1/2 cup oat bran

1 cup coconut

1 egg

1 cup natural peanut butter

2 cups unsweetened applesauce

1 cup raisins or other dried fruit

2 TB cinnamon

1 TB vanilla extract

1/4 – 1/3 cup raw honey

 

Method:

Put everything into a large mixing bowl and combine with a spatula. Spread into a buttered baking dish and bake at 180’C for 25 minutes. Let the pan cool, and then cut into the sized bars you want. Keep in an airtight container. *Super Healthy Kids*
